Celebrating Loved Ones was established with the desire to create celebrations of all kinds, with a focus on Celebration of Life services.
By providing empathetic, compassionate and professional support, our goal is to lessen the stress and pain of planning a celebration for a loved one.
What is a Celebration of Life?
A Celebration of Life is a heartfelt event that honors the life and legacy of a loved one who has passed away, focusing on their joys, achievements, and the memories they’ve left behind. Unlike traditional funerals, it is a more personalized and uplifting gathering that emphasizes the positive aspects of the deceased’s life, encouraging attendees to share stories, laughter, and even tears in a supportive environment.
These celebrations can take place anywhere meaningful, from beaches to backyards, and often include favorite music, photos, and hobbies of the departed, making the event deeply personal and reflective of the individual’s spirit. It offers a unique opportunity for friends and family to come together in mutual support, finding comfort in collective remembrance and the celebration of a life well-lived.
Through this joyous commemoration, a Celebration of Life helps those mourning to begin healing by focusing on the love and happiness that the person brought into their lives.
“My family hired Jenni to help us with my grandmother’s Celebration of Life last August. Jenni needed very little direction from us, with just a little info from us about my grandmother’s life, her interests, and what colors she preferred, Jenni created a beautiful, creative, and tasteful setting.
We hosted the celebration at my home, and when we arrived from the service Jenni had everything set up and ready to go. She handled all aspects of the event from centerpieces, arrangements, and being our liaison with the caterer, we had to do nothing. Jenni made a difficult day so much better for our entire family. I highly recommend her services for your next event!”

Planning a Celebration of Life
You will quickly discover that planning a memorial for 50-100 people is very stressful and not ideal. There will also be loose ends that will need to be tied up like gathering a death certificate, closing bank accounts and life insurance. This takes time and patience.
Any event outside of the home will require a venue, flowers, food, music, photos, audio visual display, program handouts, guest book and a memory tables. Some events are more personal and choose to invite friends, families, and additional support.
Because of all these moving parts Celebrating Loved Ones was created. We help people that are grieving and already overwhelmed to host an amazing Celebration of Life memorial without having to do all the work themselves.
Life Celebrations & Memorial Services Excel with an Event Planner
Overwhelming does not begin to describe planning a 100 plus person Celebration of Life memorial! Families handle grief differently, and managing grief while keeping your day to day lives in motion can be quite challenging.
Grief, family members suggestions and questions, then planning an event can be too much. The never ending list of what needs to get done can cause unwanted and intense pressure.
From waking up and attending a funeral, then on to celebrate your loved one is an emotional process for most families. To have an added responsibility to get there early to set up the music, flowers, and coordinate vendors – then stay late packing and cleaning everything up is why we suggest a company like Celebrating Loved Ones.
Celebrating Loved Ones is a planning and coordinating company that specializes in memorial planning.
